Our history

Over two decades building global competitiveness

Since the 1970s, Chihuahua has established itself as a strong manufacturing hub, laying the foundation for the arrival of the aerospace industry in the 1990s. This enabled the presence of global companies such as Safran, Honeywell, Zodiac, and Cessna.

In 2008, the Chihuahua Aerospace Cluster was formally established to align the industry and strengthen the region’s competitiveness.
